What is it that is the most dangerous thing that we have to deal with in this world, that we are most to fear?
A nominal (in name only) Christian.
We urge you to consider this danger: That which we have most to fear is nominal Christianity. We have many who profess the truth who will be overcome because they are not acquainted with the Lord Jesus Christ. 3SM 399.3
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1:16
Whose works?
Their own; for the glory of self.
Whose decisions?
Whose Biblical and prophetic interpretations?
One of these is Satan’s most valuable prize. He can achieve everything that he needs to do, through them.
They will not heed the appeals or the counsel of “The Faithful and True Witness” (and buy His remedies for their condition), the “Spirit of Prophecy”, or us, as we all have discovered.
We, like God, have to just “let them go for it!”
“If it is not willing, it is worthless”
But, they “can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth”.
Everything that they do will only prove the truth even more.
The truth will always be the truth.
In contrast one soul, who believes the truth, who abides in Christ, and, more importantly, He abides in their heart is -
“More than a match for the whole hosts of darkness”
“Greater than all nations combined”
“Better able to provide protection for any earthly ruler, than their entire security forces”
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

"The third angel's message is the proclamation of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ. The commandments of God have been proclaimed, but the faith of Jesus Christ has not been proclaimed by Seventh-day Adventists as of equal importance, the law and the gospel going hand in hand. I cannot find language to express this subject in its fullness.
"The faith of Jesus." It is talked of, but not understood. What constitutes the faith of Jesus, that belongs, to the third angel's message? Jesus becoming our sin-bearer that He might become our sin-pardoning Saviour. He was treated as we deserve to be treated. He came to our world and took our sins that we might take His righteousness. Faith in the ability of Christ to save us amply and fully and entirely is the faith of Jesus."
"We are the Lord’s denominated people, to proclaim the truths of heavenly origin. The most solemn, sacred work ever given to mortals is the proclamation of the first, second, and third angel’s messages to our world." Lt 146, 1909
How are we to proclaim it?
“By His perfect obedience He has made it possible for every human being to obey God's commandments. When we submit ourselves to Christ, the heart is united with His heart, the will is merged in His will, the mind becomes one with His mind, the thoughts are brought into captivity to Him; we live His life. This is what it means to be clothed with the garment of His righteousness.”
Whose thoughts, words, works, directions where to go?
Every one of them is from the LORD. They are His.
“We have far more to fear from within than from without.”
When these “dangerous”, “devilish” “nominal” ones can no longer keep up the pretence, for the power of Christ’s life will be seen so clearly in the faithful few, the remnant, they will be even more dangerous - they have hated us and the truth all along, but they will be furious and will be the ones who will turn us in to the worldly, national authorities - then “Satan has entire control of the finally impenitent.” See GC Ch 39,40.
Just like we have lived victoriously every moment, so we will live during these “closing scenes” and through to “time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time Thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
