For many be called, but few chosen. Matthew 20:16.
Each one of us is called by Christ to follow Him. It is up to each one to “make your calling and election sure”.
To all that be in ________, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
God is faithful, by Whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9
That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory.
1 Thessalonians 2:12
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9
He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful. Revelation 17:14
And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Revelation 19:9
It remains our decision whether or not we become His chosen ones — the ones who will eat with Him at the “marriage supper of the Lamb” and dwell with Him for eternity.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Faithful is He that calleth you, Who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23,24
