Willing or Worthless

“If it is not willing, it is worthless”

This expression is the indication of an intelligent and uncoerced choice. When any other factor/s are brought into the decision it becomes of no value whatsoever, as expressed in the well known saying, “A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still.” (Lt 120, 1910)

God (Christ) willingly subordinated Himself for the salvation of man.
We willingly “die daily” to self, and in absolute dependence allow Christ to have entire management of the life.

As part of Christ’s loving salvation for us, He is going to move the HQ of the universe to this earth at the beginning of the 8th millennium.
Every citizen of the universe will be willingly subordinate to their Creator as it was before the mystery of iniquity was manifested.

Nahum 1:9 - What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

Philemon 1:14 - But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

EW 149 - “Three times He was shut in by the glorious light about the Father, and the third time He came from the Father, His person could be seen. His countenance was calm, free from all perplexity and doubt, and shone with benevolence and loveliness, such as words cannot express. He then made known to the angelic host that a way of escape had been made for lost man. He told them that He had been pleading with His Father, and had offered to give His life a ransom, to take the sentence of death upon Himself, that through Him man might find pardon.”

DD 1 - “ The law of love being the foundation of the government of God, the happiness of all created beings depended upon their perfect accord with its great principles of righteousness. God desires from all His creatures the service of love—homage that springs from an intelligent appreciation of His character. He takes no pleasure in a forced allegiance, and to all He grants freedom of will, that they may render Him voluntary service.”

DA 759-769 - “It was God's purpose to place things on an eternal basis of security... Then the extermination of sin will vindicate God's love and establish His honor before a universe of beings who delight to do His will, and in whose heart is His law.”

GC 678, 679 - “The great controversy is ended. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean. One pulse of harmony and gladness beats through the vast creation. From Him who created all, flow life and light and gladness, throughout the realms of illimitable space. From the minutest atom to the greatest world, all things, animate and inanimate, in their unshadowed beauty and perfect joy, declare that God is love.”
