These prominent cities have often been grouped together and referred to in various contexts.
It maybe that you have been living in an area that has not been affected at all by COVID-19 and it has even seemed to be a non-event to you, but it is interesting to note that if you were still living in, or near any, of the above cities you would know all to well how serious this global pandemic has been. They have even been referred to as “epicentres” of this virus.
Christ’s counsel to move “out of the cities” has been mentioned earlier; one quote keeps coming to the minds of all those “watching and praying” -
O that God's people had a sense of the impending destruction of thousands of cities, now almost given to idolatry. CL 8
The God-given blessings of country living are too numerous to recount here, but only to say once again that those who have heeded all of the counsel given to us in Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy have not been affected by any of the events that have occurred in this world.
Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper. 2 Chronicles 20:20
Very appropriate admonition anytime, but particularly in this year - 2020.
