Each passing day we see the governments of each country around the globe imposing tighter restrictions on, and seriously eroding the civil liberties of, their citizens in response to this microscopic virus, all of this as they watch on helplessly, plunging their economies deeper and deeper into debt.
This topic of cities has been briefly mentioned previously (see Archive - Out of the Cities), but in the midst of the current crisis it warrants another visit at this time. Here are just a few of the many, many quotes:
