Not One Word

As Christ arose, He brought from the grave a multitude of captives. The earthquake at His death had rent open their graves, and when He arose, they came forth with Him. They were those who had been co-laborers with God, and who at the cost of their lives had borne testimony to the truth. Now they were to be witnesses for Him who had raised them from the dead…Those who came forth from the grave at Christ's resurrection were raised to everlasting life. They ascended with Him as trophies of His victory over death and the grave…These went into the city, and appeared unto many, declaring, Christ has risen from the dead, and we be risen with Him. Thus was immortalized the sacred truth of the resurrection. The risen saints bore witness to the truth. DA 786

Did they tell everyone that they had visited not to tell one soul that you have seen me?
How did those visited all keep this amazing secret?
Where did they go between appearances?
Were they with Christ somewhere for the forty days?
Was John the Baptist one of them?
Are they the 24 elders around the Throne that John saw in the Revelation?

There has been much speculation.

Many, many questions have been asked about this highly privileged group for 2000 years.

Not one of the gospel or apostolic writers gave us even one hint concerning these incredible appearances either to themselves, or to any of the witnesses, to this great antitypical wave sheaf offering of the first fruits, which was fulfilled, and on the very day that it had been celebrated for centuries.

It did happen to fulfil Scripture.
BUT —
Not one word!
